my key won't open neither seat nor back compartment.
how do i determine if it is from the key or the bike?

Have you ridden your MP3 lately? Try putting the key in the ignition, turning the ignition to ON to reactivate the receiver, then try opening again. Other than that I am not sure.

it is driven on a daily basis

When you activate the remote control (which you will know is working becasue the LED on the key will flash), does the scooter make "the sound" (of the solenoid activating)?

Also, are you unable to use the key to open the compartment remotely, when inserted into the ignition, or both?

Where I am going with this is whether or not you have an electrical/radio issue, the release cable is stretched (common problem), or something else.

How old are the batteries in the remote?
