Modern Vespa

I was suprised I could not find an answer to this by searching MV; I did restrict my search to the MP3 forum so it's possible I missed the answer in a different MV section.

I want to buy a new bugscreen. My dealer is not very good at getting replacement parts - e.g. my "mod" of installing an Italian flag reflector because my dealer could not figure out how to obtain a replacement for a stock (U.S.) reflector I had broken.

Does anyone have recommendations and experience with a web-based, U.S. dealer that will quote, order, and ship MP3 parts by part number? Yes, at the moment I am looking for a bugscreen, but my question is more generic: if somebody wanted a part, and they knew the part number (easy enough to figure out with all the excellent resouces here at MV), what web site could they find or request a price, and order the part, without going through their local dealership?

They have all the parts diagrams to help find what you want. Email them for a price on anything not listed. Quick delivery. They charge list price and shipping is high for small items.

Thanks Fuzzy. I can't say I was overwhelmed by their web site - the flyscreen (drawing ID 22, part 653415000C) is listed as selling for "$0.01" and "call for availability." I did note that many other front facade parts were listed with prices, however...just not the one I wanted.

Probably something not in stock. I sent them a note on one and got a reply with price the next day.

That means you need to call for pricing. No big deal, they are great guys, just tell they you need Piaggio parts when you call.
