Modern Vespa

Anyone using Google Voice? I just started playing with it.

I've been using it regularly for over a year now. I use it as my primary number and I have an app on my BlackBerry that integrates my GV number into the other BB functions.

Another thing I'm a fan of is being able to call out using my GV number from any phone.

This service is great. I got in when you still needed to be invited. I've been using Voice for about a year. We all have cell phones, and got rid of our land lines. The school and doctors always want a "home" number. Voice lets me give one number which ring mine, my wifes and my work number. I love that you can use the contacts to provide custom greetings to people.

Having text messages transcribe the voice messages is great. I don't need to bother checking what the message is. I also notice that they just tied it to Google Chat so you can get the call from IM as well. I haven't tried this using iChat, but just another great feature.

I hope that they will allow receipt and sending of faxes soon.
