Modern Vespa

Today I went into Massimo's to have my rear tire plugged. Apparently I
picked up a nail while turning to the right on a sharp corner. While there I
had Massimo switch out the ordinary silver bell housing for the new black
bell housing. Looks good, and it was done professionally with heat treat paint.

Maybe if the cap were a dark grey rather than chrome . . .

Yes it's my 300 and my brother had the trans-cover powder-coated for me last Christmas.

Your brother is very generous , the place I went to wanted $150 for
powdercoating in black. I asked our local scooter paint outfit how much to
paint in heat treat paint, and it cost me $50. The look in black is awesome. 8)

That said The chair is most helpful for when I stop to smoke a cigar and
have my coffee. You just keep up what you are up to and have fun. What do you ride yourself?

My bro is good friends with the powder-coater. They are hot rod buddies. He only paid $45 to get it powder-coated. $150 is highway robbery for a job that small.

It was no fucking ratttle can paint job louisq! And if you looked close
enough anyone with an eye could see that.

Charity starts in your own backyard. And with your own money...if he's happy with the price and the result so be it.
