turn signal indicator ?

Hi all, a quick question here on my 81 200px, the turn indicator is on steadily. The signals themselves work and blink but the indicator on the
speedo is just on all the time. There is a 552 flasher in place and it clicks with the flashing of the signals. I am suspecting a bad flasher as all else works ok. Thanx in advance!

Wouldn't a bad flasher affect the signals as well as the indicator?

Sounds like it is wired wrong. it might be getting power from the head light and not the flasher switch on the handlebars.

I would say that, if the 552 is a 2 pin flasher relay, then it might be not suitable for the type of indicator system you have.
