I always liked the idea of a LARGE Roll-bag for my Vespa. I wanted something decent and functional, something that I could take on a over-nighter and take on and off easily. The only problem is these bags from Piaggio are worth their weight in gold. $300+ cool they aren't to me....... The solution.... Make my own.

I think $73.00 is a ridiculously cheap price to pay for a cool bag. Follow my steps below.

What do you think?
Buy a Brand New Large Prima bag on Ebay on clearance for $69.00 Shipped

Buy a $4.00 Vespa patch off Ebay.

Go to your buddies upholstery shop to have him sew the patch over the Prima logo with his Ultra-Powerful sewing machine.

Great minds think alike however I have to give the credit for my GTS bag to Len Smith. This bag was on his 05 PX he traded in a while back and I hijacked it for my scooter.

I figured you would get a Adidas Roll Bag

My version of an affordable bag for the rear rack.
A cheap bag and patches work for me.

Other than that I have started my MODification process by adding two spotlights and four mirrors to the front rack.

Very True. However the Roll Bag is one of the few items Prima makes that is actually a quality piece at a good price. I wasn't about to spend $130 on it like SW has it in their catalog for but $69.00 shipped was a price I couldn't beat. I won't be using it everyday like some people use their bags but for what I plan to use it for you can't go wrong.

David, should I ever make my way down to your part of the state, I will be needing a ride in that RS. That's my boss's dream car - I'd love to be able to say I rode in one before he!

Focus on the Prima bags boys, focus on the Prima bags. Eddie's is actually nicer as mine was a velcro job and he used a master sewing machine guy.

We had to re-paint Pattys with vinyl spray after a couple years for sun-fade on the bag. The sewn-on patch didnt fade, so we just masked it off. Looks better than new now going on 4 years... Temecula to Solvang~Lompoc Ca. Missiles missed, and others.

I love my Prima roll bag. I use it nearly every day for everything from work supplies and laptop to groceries. It holds my helmet easily. I don't mind the Prima logo.

I just don't understand all this obsession with brand logos and the need to cover one up, display another, or to cover your vehicle or apparel with brand livery. I'd just as soon not have any displayed.

Call me anti-corporate (and you'd be right!), but I think these companies should be paying us to display their logos, rather than charging us more for items with their logos prominently displayed.

Clap emoticon My Vespa is the first vehicle I've owned in 15 years that I haven't "debadged"! It's somewhat effeminate from my view. BUT, I have seen several that did look good......
