After trying quite a few different seats, I finally have a great one.

I tried the stock GTV seat...I'm too tall for it. 6' with 32" inseam.

I tried a Vespa brown leather for a GTS...OK, but not great.

I tried a stock Corbin...I screwed up and ordered the wrong color leather for my bike and it just did not go at all. I could have lived with this one with just a few little modifications -but not the color. It would have cost more to get it recovered, so I just sold it on this board.

I PM'd Vezpa about his seat and he was a big help. Thanks

I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Marissa at Corbin. She was great. I ordered the seat with these modifications:
Special Services,
Push rider back 2 inches
Raise up front to eliminate from tilting forward
Shave down side of rider section only.

5 weeks later, it arrived. It is perfect.

If you are thinking about getting one, call Marissa at Corbin. She knows what we did with this seat. I'm a happy guy now.

The only thing I would add here is that the seat is wide causing me to be on my toes at a stop. For me this is no big deal. (I also have a BMW 1150GS and I am used to it being tall.)

If you are shorter, you may want them to trim the front sides down a bit.

But again, for me it's perfect.

That is a receptacle for passenger backrest. Corbin makes some to slide in the bracket under the flap.

$349 plus shipping and tax if applicable. Nothing extra for different leathers or mods.

Just one more note about this seat and I'll stop talking about it.

The holes on the mounting bracket where it attaches to the frame were off by about 1/4". I had to take a circular file and file away about an 1/8" to the outside of each hole. This made the screws line up perfectly.

Also, I had to put a washer under each screw under the bracket of the rear mount to allow the bracket to lock in place.

I called Corbin and told them about this. Simple fix, but it needs to be done.

Typical fix, and a very nice looking seat! Nothing beats a comfortable seat!

$350 + shipping for a seat that doesn't fit properly without mods? No thanks.

Whatever happened to pride in craftsmanship?
