step "how to change the belt and rollers on the Vespa GT 200L?"

Pictures would be great. Something like a Chilton Manual for the GT?

I have been able to change the front and back tire (took them off and brought them to a motorcycles dealer), spark plug, exhaust, oil, oil filter, gear oil, and recharge the air filter. I have saved money and several trips to the dealer. Plus there is just something about doing it yourself.

The only regular maintenance I'm not comfortable with is changing the belt and the rollers. (I would love to try with the correct instructions and tools.)

Kyle on the International New Scooter BBS has listed the steps and I have the manual however they are not real clear.

Does anybody know the typical charge for changing belts and rollers on the GT?
Maybe it is something that is better left to the shop?

Not specific to a GT200L, but it does cover the basics, and they use Piaggio products for many of the pictures. There is a Haynes manual for automatic scooters. It's excellent. The price is also very reasonable. It does have torque specs for a bunch of different scooters, including your GT200.

I sounds like you're already in possession of the procedure, mgg. If you could be more specific as to what's not clear in the service manual, I'd be happy to clarify it for you.

I'd guess you'd be charged 1-2 hours labor, plus parts.

Thanks Brice/ Gary;

I will order the Haynes Manual for Scooters, and try to do it myself.

I will take you up on your offer if I run into a problem Gary.
