Talking about the cylinder, is it assembled with the correct gasket?
Please post a video of the et2 accelerating.

Update on 7,5g rollers.
Seems like it's smoother with these going up and down the gearing,. Also more steady. I use to drop speed going up hill on the 6.5g rollers. I think I might have cracked the rollers. But still at 45mph / 72k/mh. |

Is it possible my air intake is restricted. It has a similar channel like the stock exhaust have. Take a look at the attatched pic. I'm thinking I have to be restricted somewhere.

Did you do this? What was the outcome?
Fabio Dougie wrote: Have you checked to see if the belt is "climbing" the variator fully? You can do this by marking the variator with a Permanent Marker or "Sharpie" then taking the scooter up to its top speed. See the picture.....the belt rubs off the Sharpie ink mark you made and leaves the unused circumference of the variator marked with ink...there should be no sharpie ink left if its climbing the variator correctly. . |

Yes I did all of the sharpie was rubbed off. I even put it on both sides of variator. |

fellow ET2 Tuner
Hello Fabio!
Reading this post inspired my ET2 build.. I had been searching for an ET2 for years, and recently picked one up cheap that had a failed crank bearing and wasn't running 2005 ET2 in Perla white DR70cc evo kit New bearings and seals Stock Crank Polini Hi-Speed variator kit w/polini belt and blue contra spring. Malossi Fly clutch BGM phvb 17.5mm carb - vacuum & oil lines plugged 2t oil tank disconnected Malossi racing fuel tap recovered the seat, some black paint on trim Running 32:1 for the first 100 miles - premixing @ the pump / then 40:1 I got it up to 45 (indicated) on a slight downhill and let off, speed limit is 25 most everywhere in NYC, but it feels like it might do more.. Feel like its quicker than my old stock p125x After all of this I wish I had replaced the stock crank, went Malossi 70 kit, ported to match, preformance cdi, but I also want reliability, and a quick machine in between lights, don't really need top-speed. cheers

that dr 70 kit sounds fabuluos.....what airfilter are you running?
i got a stage6 pro sport mk2 ...these call for a full circle crank and i snagged one of polini's im going to try and install over the winter...i believe with the right pipe these kits can produce 14ish HP....stock et2 is 5..that dr kit is probably 8ish |

Are you still running the stock pipe? Considering everything else you've done there are massive gains to be had with a performance pipe.

re: et2 performance parts
I neglected to add:
Also, have a Malossi Wild Lion pipe, and the Malossi red air filter that fits in the stock airbox. The Malossi Wild Lion, seems a little tame. Maybe I should look for an expansion pipe, and sell the lion |

Not sure if you have already, but it would benefit from a free flowing performance exhaust.

SUBSCRIBED to this thread! I need to know all this for my new to me ET2 which hits 35 mph on the flats. Now I'm wondering if it has the a restrictor on the variator shown on the first page of this thread. I need to poke around
