You have all probably figured out that most scooter clubs have a bias toward vintage scooters. I am thinking of starting a new more inclusive club that is open to all scooters. While my tendency is to make it a "modern only" club, I have to remind myself that I am not wanting to exclude others, but rather to include others. I am just trying to get ideas at this point about what has or has not worked well elsewhere. Does anyone have any experiences they can share? Web site links to any non-vintage focused or modern only clubs would also be appreciated.

There are two clubs here in the Cleveland area.
The Cleveland Branch of the Detroit Rovers Scooter Club is about ten people, and the Rovers are vintage only.
The Pride of Cleveland shop, run by Phil Waters, has a Pride of Cleveland Scooter Club, which is mostly leaning toward vintage, or vintage clones such as Stellas, with a few others thrown in.
Nothing that I'm aware of that tends toward modern scooters, or "appears" to be all inclusive.
Of note, is that the local VespaCleveland does not have or sponsor a club. There is an OhioVespa "club" supposedly run by the three Ohio Vespa shops (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati) but they exceeded bandwidth, and the sign-up sheet never worked. I don't know how they ran out of bandwidth, because the forum has one post on it (mine) and the gallery has maybe 150 photos. I can't get signed up for the freebies...
I wish there was a more modern club in the area, as I don't know that I fit in with the traditional vintage scooter club lifestyle.

I'm a member of the Mad Toto Scooter Club of Kansas City. We are open to any scooter (aside from gopeds and the like), and we are primarily focused on riding.
