First World Joke
A skinny homeless guy walks up to a plump socialite and says, "Hey lady... I haven't eaten in two days". To which she replied, "You just need to force yourself."

Keeping it under control...
To answer the OP...it's lack of basic manners and compassion / understanding.
However, more important whenever possible I've been making an effort to minimize getting upset and let's face it...it takes some effort! Some things that have helped: I try to avoid situations that can be avoided that increase the frustration level. I also try to cope and understand the situations to keep the frustration level down...sometimes it's just me getting upset and it really wasn't a big deal. I tell myself to just let it go... Another trick is it's really easy to convince or relive and event to get yourself upset...a couselor once told a group to remember something that upset us and close our eyes and relive event. It's surprising the emotions that reliving an event can bring about. With this in mind, I attempt whenever possible to "not get it started"...it's hard at times but workable. This does'nt mean I don't get upset...I just try to keep it under control. |

The attitude (who care's) is somewhat disappointing...I've on occasion asked those who display this type of behavior if they are happy doing what their doing and perhaps there's something else they might find more rewarding...I mean this sincerely. Then it could be that this is just the way they are...believe someone further up the chain of command might want to know. |

Poor customer service is pissing me off. I ordered some new scooter bling nearly two months ago and have not received it. The company collected their money via PayPal on February 5 and tells me that I should have already received my order. I have not. On three occasions, I've requested the shipment be tracked or that they provide me with a tracking number. And, I wait...

1: One of my customers stole my new Playboy before I was finished reading it (yes I do read parts of it). The worst part? I know who it was. He asked if he could have another old magazine and while I wasn't looking he put it inside. But, wait you say. Isn't that good news? Ironically, no. If I confronted him I would lose his bussiness.
2: I broke the best pair of reading glasses that I have ever had. I put them in the open cash drawer for some reason. When I closed it they got jammed. I tried to get them out for 15 minutes until a coustomer came in and I had to break them to make change. I had them for six months, which is a record for me. 3: My car stereo stopped working. |

This happened March 9th:
The doctor who enjoys shoving a roto-rooter up my ass every 5 years had his nurse call me to set up an appointment. I asked when and she said mid-May because he is very busy. She asked where I wanted to pick up my prescription and I told her the Walmart Pharmacy in the next town over. I asked what date in May and she said they would notify me. A few hours later, I get a recorded call from Walmart Pharmacy saying the prescription was ready. So soon, thought I? A couple of months out and the scrip is ready? OK, I called my wife at work and asked if she could pick it up, since she works in that town. She brought it home...1 pill. As I recall, it was 1 pill plus something else plus gallons of apple juice, but technology changes and maybe it is different now. Three days later, I get another recorded message from Walmart Pharmacy saying I had a prescription ready and it had to be picked up or it would go back in stock. Crap! I called Walmart and said I already picked up a prescription a few days ago. They asked if I changed doctors and I said no. I asked how much it was and was told $15.33. The other scrip was $4, so obviously, this was different. Turns out it was a big plastic jug with a powder that had to be mixed with water. I asked why it wasn't ready at the same time of the previous scrip and they didn't know. They said the doctor probably called it in on a different day. I asked what day was on the order and they said March 9th. Busted. So, again I asked my wife to pick it up because they threatened to put it back in stock. My pissiness is two-fold. Why did the doctor phone in a scrip, 2 months prior to the appointment which isn't even confirmed yet. Second, why didn't Walmart fill both together and save me a trip? I guess that is the worst part. Now, I just have to hang on to this stuff and not lose it before May's appointment. ⚠️ Last edited by NightWing on UTC; edited 1 time

I'm a barber. I never go more than 4 ft from the till when coustomers are in. I don't guard the literature as closely. Hell, I would have given it to him after I was done with it.

Pissing me off is the person who apparently got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. After I spent the night on the couch because I couldn't stand his snoring.

Nah! I'd bet of you went to an old school barber shop you'd find one. It has to be the kind that has butch wax and knows what a flat top is. An American Legion decal on the window is another good clue.
