Here's what you get with the factory carb hose kit. A bit more than needed as the long piece is already installed on US scoots. Not cheap either at ~$15, but sometimes you gotta pay a premium for the correct piece. Puts to rest the filter debate -- not required -- 3 inches of hose is all that's needed.

Yeah.

Just makes it look "factory" under the hood. Short length of hose will have same function.
