Yes Bagel it's on the underside. Didn't see it until I did my own rear wheel and prepped for ceramic coating. If it's rust from the inside ceramic coating wouldn't help much...

Trust me I have done all I can for now, Piaggio customer care is next and hopefully they will get LouisQ fully satisfied. The failure is subjective however the attitude towards helping him can certainly improve.

Yes very much! Now we'll see where customer care goes. VSO has done more than two other deaers. Number 1 for a reason!

Apparently they don't take the time to read all the communications. Oh well! Another fine example of Customer Care. I won't be remounting the muffler to take the entire scooter in.....

I feel your pain. In cases like this I would throw on another after market muffler and call it a day. Issues like these can make months off of your life trying to get them fixed. Hope you get resolution.
