i need some splaining...i have a 1961 vnb and want to attach a buddy seat. i would prefer one that is old and worn, but my question is on the mounting. i see some old pics of vespas that have the buddy seat attached directly to the small carrier rack that attaches to the fender. i also see the same type of buddy seat attached to a chrome plate and does not use the carrier rack. if i want to use my carrier rack to attach a buddy seat then how does the seat mount to the rack. will i have to drill holes? pics would help if you have...

The buddy seat comes with brackets that attach to your "package tray", no need to drill anything.
