ring compressor?
I need a ring compressor for a 64 mm. cylinder. I'd be glad to pay for shipping both ways if someone has one to loan.
Lacking the compressor, I'd be glad for any advice on sliding the cylinder over the piston without breaking a ring. I've tried once and broke the second ring. Now having to find a place to sell me only the ring set for a Pinasco 177 upgrade kit for my 150 Super. I should have left well enough alone. ar |

I'll pay normal postage unless you'd like it express or registered or whatever. PM me. |

Just my personal, but I've found compressors to be more dangerous than helpful.. Make sure the gaps are at the ring locators, lube with 2T and use your fingertips and fingernails... If necessary I put the barrel up against my chest so I can have two hands and several fingertips compressing the ring as your strong, heaving chest pushes the cylinder over the rings one at a time...
If you've tried the Barrel Chested mehtod (I just made that up on the spot! ) and it hasn't worked... I don't know what to say except good luck with a compressor, but I've not used one in forever.. If you have to mark the side of the piston w/ a sharpie to help you see the locating pins, just remember: sharpie stands for fun! and Amity MEANS friendship! |

Haven't had to use a compressor except on the Pinasco. Just need to make sure the bit where the compressor overlaps itself is opposite the ring gap.

et3 top end
Sold on ebay by Scooterworks.
ET3 top end - cylinder piston, rings, etc. No head. Clearance is tight at 0.001", so you need to hone or have it honed. Make me an offer that includes paying for shipping and a pittance of cash or maybe trade?? Carb bigger than 19.19, maybe some fresh brake shoes for the rear hub, or a rear rack for the smallie.

Leather riding pants
I have a pair of First Gear leather riding pants that I no longer use. They are size 38 waist X 34 length. (The length could easily be shortened by cutting off as they are not hemmed at the cuff.) The only mark on them is a "kiss" from where my rump hit the pavement in a very low speed slide-out. I'd be glad to mail them at my cost to anyone who is willing to give $25 to a food pantry in his/her area that serves low income folks. Honor system at work here.
Any takers? PM me if you are.

I gotchoo covered.. looks nicer in the pic, but if you're after a super tail light assembly that works.. this should do the trick.. I'll try and get it out tomorrow.
Oh! you'll need ONE of the long screws to hold the lens on.. I could only find one.

I'm in need of a seat cover for my VBA. The one I had on has continued to deteriorate beyond use. Although riding without a cover is a lot more comfortable than you might imagine, it's less than ideal.
Condition is not crucial since it's going on an unrestored bike. I have a few random bits and pieces for P series, VBA, and ET3 to trade or will pay cash. Let's deal.

Still need a seat cover like I mentioned above, but I need a gear selector box cover to fit my VBA gearbox as well. Anyone? As usual good condition is frowned upon. Just needs to be useable, not pretty.
Maybe I have something you need. Parts? Cash? Thanks |

Anyone got a 24/24 air filter, or some si jets (looking for them in the 120-128 range?
I've still got a Primavera 3rd O/S piston on my shelf. Going to go through my cabinets and see what else I can put up for grabs later this week. |
