Cool stuff. You have made me all lusty for a rare model that I'll probably never see in person... I so like the taper of the leg-shield. Nice.

In your other post some speculated it was based on the Rally body, some said Sprint. I kinda thought the mud guard and cowls (and the headset too ) had GL qualities to them.?. Regardless, a rare gem for sure.

Scooterhelp says Sprint.

There was a Motovespa 150 for sale in Washington state a few years back, and it went pretty cheap. Those are cool, too, based on a GS160.

I had the opportunity to buy a 150s a while ago.. We had agreed that I would call him back when I had figured out when and how I was going to pick it up. Called him back a bit later and he had already sold it.. Cheeky bastard..

Anyway, it was quite cheap, even considering they aren't very sought after, parts availability probably being the main reason why. Even with an engine swap it would still have been very cheap though, and then you'd have a very nice scooter..

Sprints and Rallys have the same number of cowl louvers.

I say Rally because of the legshield glovebox and the removable left cowl. Other than those things (and the type of cowl clip) Rallys and Sprints are virtually identical. But because of those being present on the GT160, I think we can now agree that it is closer to a Rally or SS than a Sprint and nothing like a GL.

Hate to burst your bubble but its not worth 7000

I have seen a few go for under £1000
I reckon a 160GT restored is worth around 1500 - 1800
Might go for more in spain
