Modern Vespa

Just curious what the scooter techs use for lifts in the shop? Or do you have one of the larger hydraulic lifts that works like a bench? (As seen on TV!)

I don't know if a motorcycle lift would work, because they allow the bike to rest on the frame, and the monocoque might not support it (or the plastic cover on the Metropolitan, for that matter.) Something like this, or the $79 one Craftsman sells.

When I do a Google search for motor scooter lift or jack, all I find are ones for mobility scooters, like hoists for vans.

he picked it of from a guy on craigslist for 3 or 4 hundred

handy lift. the electric model.
and be sure to get the cycle vise.

they're about 1200bux but you'll never need to buy another lift.
