I know what you mean. We have a place here call Patillos, that has been around since the 60's. Really unique sauce. The ceiling is even smoked.
Luckily it's only about 15 minutes away. |

Got the title for the bike put in my name. Drove to the DMV, renewed my tags for the P210, and liscense. Have to wait until Monday to get tags for the Honda. Mowed the lawn in the rain while listening to Fugazi. Bought a 12 pack of Mountain Dew and some smokes. The night is still young. The roads are shit. Adventure awaits... |

It's ALIVE!
Got the VBA running today! gave a the tank and carb a good cleaning, new tap and fuel line. After I remembered to open up the fuel tap it fired right up.
On the downside I can't get the clutch working properly, so I'll be cracking into that next. |

Temptation
Weather's perfect for garage sale cruising on a scooter! Found a newer, clean LML motor, runs OK, for $250(haggled down from 300). Not greatest deal, but nice guy that upgraded to new crate P200 motor. He threw in a mint plastic spare wheel cover for my 125 t. s. and a new T5 glovebox tray that'll probably end up on it too.

I tried adjusting the clutch every which way possible, but no matter what, as soon as I put it in first it killed the motor. It's just not compressing enough. I guess maybe the plunger is worn out. I'll have to take a look. Will I need VBA specific clutch tools for that? I have ones for my P200. |

OK...not a scooter day but put a new carb on the generator (hurricane season is almost here) and learned how to set the governor. Now just need to find a Hz meter to check the spring tension.
Also replaced the ice maker. Gotta finish the Honeydo so I can get in the shop! |

I did shit for pics, but hopefully I can find some online later! Oh! I did have a mishap.. I had a soda in my glovebox (in the cowl) and it exploded and I'm pretty sure the can and explosion exploded the cylinder lock right out of my glovebox latch! Boom! Some pics.. couple SICK choppers.. seriously long forks.. awesome in person! ⚠️ Last edited by Vader19 on UTC; edited 1 time

I just came back from the Hell on Wheels motorcycle rally at a MX park in Riverside, CA. Went camping with my boy and watched some vintage motocross bike racing.
There was an open category, any bike, and low and behold there was a scooter in the motocross race. It was not a vespa, but one of those milano Chinese deals. It was painted sparkly pink and all nutty. Anyways its one of those gy6 150 motors and the dude was flying (kinda) off a couple jumps. Father than some of the smaller cc bikes anyways. I mean he got props. Anyone here ever build a vespa MX bike, because watching that got me thinking. I know it would be hard on the scoot, but I guess it would be no different than riding some Punjabi streets right? png

I knew that Fresca addiction would catch up to you sooner or later.did the can pop while you were riding? That would scare the shit out of me, especially if that lock barrel came shooting out of there right at the jewels.

Rode 90 miles testing my new non auto lube set up and my new venturi without issue. Slight hesitation when I first roll the throttle, think my idle my be slightly low?
Tried to get my daughter to pose with my scooter for some pictures but her 18 month old self is way to interested in the kick start to get a good picture. Maybe next week. Also, my pipe scares my daughter. |

25th Birthday
Today (06-02-13)...
My friend stopped by and checked out my new bike. Worked on a wood carving in his backyard for a couple hours. Was gifted a wonderful assortment of early birthday goods! I also found this badass Hummel track jacket in the hallway of my "girlfriend's" apartment. Someone killed a walrus man infront of our local bar last night... Today (06-03-13) is my 25th birthday! Waking up early to get a plate for the Honda. |
