Have fun mixing it with the Ducatis and Guzzis Ginch. I joined the Lambretta club for the classic rego.
Ebeth that is a 125D factory racer used for time trials in the 50s. Found its way to Australia somehow!

Go Skateboarding Day
Yesterday I...

Woke up...
Rode my scoot to go swim at a friends house.
Scoot stalled out on the way there, switched to reserve while rolling.
Went fishing at the river, caught only one smallmouth bass.
Came home, filled up on fuel, went to the bar to play pool.
Made out with some chick in her car, got busted by her friends.
Went home and hit the hay.

Today is "Go Skateboarding Day"
Do the damn thing!!!

Today I woke up feeling like shit. Drank a Mountain Dew. Went to my friend's house to sand the wooden sculpture I was chiseling in this backyard. Was using an angle grinder. My AGV Helmet came in handy. Was covered in saw dust and took some time to clean back up. Almost done withy the sculpture. Still needs some work on the fast and breasts haha, but the next day I work on it, all will be finished. Going to paint it with some of that textured stone Rustoleum.

... I got off the pot and ordered one of these stands from Dave @ Scootermercato... run the motor With the pipe is going to be great...
So I took an old mic stand, my dremel, and an old QA throttle I had and made my throttle/carb control... I'd like to put a gear selector at the other end and do some kind of kill switch...

I don't know about that.

Notice where the studs enters the arm, that looks pretty original.

And also check out the area where it looks like there was a "in run" sticker.

Hardware seems correct as well.

Went to a scooting friend's house... amp and GS in hand... we jammed a set of Sabbath! I hadn't plugged in and jammed in a very long time, but we made it through 'em for the most part.. Iomi isn't that hard to play.. I just made noise during the solos though! Razz emoticon but damn it was good to jam. Must keep the guitar out of the closet..

I miss being in a band. It's been almost 15 years since I last played live. Here's an old shot I dug up the other day. I think this was labor day at Riverfront Park in Beaumont, Texas. Mid-nineties, I'd say. That's me on the left.

Thanks guys. I'm sitting here with a 5lb weight in a bag hanging off my wrist. I've got about 55deg. of motion already! He moved a nerve so my wring and pinky finger are still funky. . Damn Rufio, that's some scary shit! That scares me as I'm finishing a degree to be a school social worker, and that kind of house call will be a part of my job. Also, neighbor was just shot and killed Friday evening right on the sidewalk behind my house. It was still light out and he was just chilling and a dude busted out from behind a car got him in the chest and his friend got his head grazed and hit in the ankle. The the dude busted through a yard to the alley where he jumped in a truck waiting in the alley and got away. People are saying it was a gang hit.

Depends what he wants to play.. if he wants to play clean a Roland Jazz Chorus and a Tele sound good.. A good old Fender Tweed will be killer w- a Tele, but he'll pay through the nose... Fender Twin Reverb is a great match... can get loud too.. on the more resonably priced side... a Fender Delux90 (while solid state) is a good all around amp..

Tell him to look at the Evil Robot! (Fretted Americana) The killer one is gonna cost you over 2k probably (ugly, but a sick amp) but I think they make a more affordable one...

If he wants a small amp just to play around the house.. a Fender Champ is small and with little seping reverb tank can sound ok... The guy to talk to about the latest options avaiable for all different budgets is probably SammyM.. he's the guy All things Guitar Center.

So many choices.. depends on what he wants to spend and what he wants out of the amp...
