Monday, finally received the new clutch springs for the CB77.

Between the new springs, a new shift adjuster screw and male thread, new clutch cable and a thorough clean up of all the clutch plates it is downright comfortable to use! My wife can even ride it without any trouble.

Now if it would just stop raining. Crying or Very sad emoticon

The Lammie that I have has a Vespa ET2 engine in it. My mechanic was hauling the frame in his collection for over 10 years as he moved around the country. The original engine was non-existent when he got the frame.

That was a real treat seeing all of you so unexpectedly. I liked seeing the little two stroke Yamahas. And that guy on the white Honda CA160 with the ratty rain suit was cool. I would have followed all of you but my wife said hell no.

Later, I heard that my pal Bryan (green Rally) broke a throttle cable in Marin headlands coming back from the reggae festival in Ukiah/Boonville. A girl on a black Honda Dream stopped to help. She had a support truck with Melee stickers on it. He said he thinks he might have been a bit rude to them when he dismissed their help. He felt bad after I told them it was the MotoMelee crowd. If you know the girl and truck driver let them know he didn't mean to be so gruff.

I saw the green rally as I came through Point Reyes. Thought, "I wonder who that is?" The girl on the dream probably has more miles than all of us combined. I'll buy her a drink next time I see her.

Ok you need to see someone about your cleaning OCD.

Edit: this from someone who was once told by his boss "your desk is too clean to work effectively"

Today I....
Picked up an all original '81 P125 in blue, in great shape. Even had the original documentation from Scooterville, and brochures from the dealer. I especially like the brochure showing all the accessories available, very cool! First kick scooter, perfect for putting around Fallbrook and local areas.

This instrument panel was for use with the fairing, and had an AM/FM radio kit and available speaker and antenna., plus a cylinder head temperature gauge and cigarette lighter!

Those are cool accessories... I don't know how I'd use the instrument panel without a fairing.. but it's pretty cool.

Found another use for Heat Shrink! I usually leave my shift cables out and don't trim 'em so when I swap motors it's easy, and I usually just loop-tuck 'em, but once in a while the come un looped, so a little heat shrink tube did the trick!

I love that stuff!
