That is a CA bike that a friend and I rebuilt from the ground up. Crazy ported stage 6 reed Mugello, JL exhaust, 30mm carb, bgm electrics. It's built to be fast and reliable. It sat in a hipsters alley unridden for years. It was yellow before I painted, and yellow it stayed. Next up... Stripes.

So yeah, it's not stock. Thanks to Jet200. Well except to the US DOT tail light and plate holder.

That looks so nice... the seat, the Strap on the seat... all of it... seriously makes me want to dabble on the dark side of Lambrettadom.
It's great.

Thanks man. I put a lot of blood (literally), sweat and tears into that bike. I was pretty happy with the way the seat turned out. The seat is an original Naomi Rossa seat from the 60's I got from a fellow LCUSA member. I had it powder coated gunmetal grey, then took it to a local crazy Russian upholsterer here in SF. I picked out some nice pebbled scratch resistant leather at a local shop and a tad bit of crock hide for the strap + gave him an original cover to follow pattern from as a pattern. He does fucking amazing work - unparalleled. Better than Pirate and they know their business. Anyone interested can PM me.

Try Scooter Center Koln in Germany. I also got a nifty inline spare tire holder that is not installed yet. Nice as hell...

Here is a better shot of the rack.

I was quoted £500, to me that just seems like far too much.

I had a guy local to Swindon (I'm down here a lot) and he used to do all my spraying, did a few cars for me and loads of bodywork but unfortunately he's no longer around.

A year or two ago I had half a Peugeot 106 sprayed along with some bodywork for £250, I wish he was still about as he'd do this for no more than £200 odd!

I'd pay a max of about £300 I think.

PS: Yea, I guess im just a cheap bastard!

Yea for sure, but I think I can get a better deal.

Btw I pick up a PX engine this weekend, hopefully should be able to take it out for its first drive in a few weeks.

Yep, after an afternoon of thinking I'm sticking to the original plan.

Pick up the PX engine this Saturday, I'll spend a week rebuilding that and then hope for some good weather and get it fitted.

Let the good times roll!

Today I bought...

12v Horn, 12v Switches, Wiring Loom, PX Stator & Flywheel, PX Kickstart, Suzuki LT Oil Tank, Spark Plug Cap & Lead, Black Stand & Feet, Woodruff Key set, Ducati CDI, 12v Regulator, Various different switches including brake switch, Flywheel Puller tool, Flywheel holder tool and a new rear light/lens for my GT160.

Damn.
I know it can hurt... but it's in the interest of a cooler (I didn't say less polluted) planet, as well as your personal delectation... so sleep well knowing that simply by purchasing said items, You...YOU AKP... are creating jobs, keeping food on someone's table, putting Transformers© in the Christmas© stocking of someone's little bundle of joy, and that the world is a better place now that your wallet is a bit lighter.

Today I went to Astley Park in Chorley with me son and hier to see an art exhibition with a northern soul/mod theme. The artist lived in Parbold, the village where I grew up.
We ignored the signs and rode the scoot right into the courtyard.

Upstair in the exhibition a friend has been showing her Lambretta, which she's modded especially for the event.
