New stand fitted (the old one was bent and was on since it was new, so 40 years old), and started the rewiring today. The engine will be coming out soon once I've rebuilt the PX engine. Headset off too to give it some paint.

Alignment was out on the ET4 so fixed that too.

Plan to add a jacket and high tops this weekend and we'll move into those quiet neighborhood streets you mention. gatekeep... She has some motorcycle experience so the learning curve isn't steep at all. Just a ton o' fun...

Today I installed the new seat pin

Installed a new clutch in a Primavera.

Stripped down a Rally 200.

Installed a replacement fork in a VBB.

Built a P200 engine with brand spanking new shit!

Today
I fixed the statue of Liberty.
Swam the English channel.
Washed my whites.
Polished some 100 spoke rims for my whip.
Defragged my computer......with my teeth.....like Hendrix.


Oh yea, and what's a day without a plug chop......whatever that is.

Changed a rim, tire and tube without any help. This is the first mechanical thing of any consequence that I've ever done.

Today my 1961 VBB1 took to to work for the first time since 1996. What a wonderful feeling!

Dropped another set of bearings into a set of cases.

thinking of letting it stay ratty. it's fairly scratched and rough but im quite fond of a beater. needs a couple minor things done. carb needs tweeting. need to tighten the clutch cable. fucking thing dragged all the way home. my hand was in tatters from wrestling it into gear

id pull that rack off .... pull that panel stripe off ..... repair the seat as itll soak rain ... or swap it for a yankee

yeah I get ya. the rack is an abomination. thatll be off it quick enough. the black is painted on though. I know a guy that does good leatherwork so I'll see if he can patch the seat. such a fun revvy motor. think it's a polini top end

gave the ET a good going over. PK had the horncast changed from chequered to plain black..
