Cheers guys. I havent got it in my back yard yet. Just the ET2 at moment. Its someone at my work who owns it, he has 3 PK's. He has just got it through its MOT for me so 12 months MOT. Comes wih all the chrome accessories, lights, more mirrors, screen and few other mod cons. to be honest, it looks better "naked" As I say the horncast is now black, gonna change the "white" rear rack. Not 100% on the side cowling..what are your thoughts??

For the love of pete, I hope it's not as exhausting as you've been around here today.

You're that guy that comes around your buddies and wonders why they tell you you're exhausting. And then gets all butt hurt when they tell you.

Failed a bit.

Trying to get the pivot bolt out of my GT to remove the engine, but it seems stuck. Really at a loss as to how to get it out, seems rusted in.

Today I received the new float needle and will be putting it in tomorrow

Ive taken the carb out and will be cleaning it

I want to clean the carb housing bit, but wondering how it comes off - is it screwed on ? Or do I just pull it ?

Are you talking about the air box?
There is a screw under the gasket.

I imagine you are referring to the air box as the "carb housing."

You can't see the screw holding it down because of the gasket. Remove the gasket and remove the screw.

Took another run at it
After fiddling w/ my carb a bit, I took another run on my favorite street here in the city (still too short w/ potholes, traffic lights etc. ) but I climbed a couple notches, hit 77.
There's def. 3 or more is in it... but it won't sit there forever w/ a 57 and stock gears... t54th and a stroker is what's next... my manifold came loose a bit... the washer under a bolt holding it on seems to have cracked in 1/2 Razz emoticon and my idle was a bit racy on the ride home (fixed) ... I'm sure that didn't help my cause.. but it was fun.

today I learned that you have to unscrew the tick-over screw to take the air filter on a t5. unplugged the tick over jet. no more dying at the lights and losing power at low revs

Love it when learning something leads to good shit Dying at lights can really put you in a bad position... not to mention bad mood.
