It was so cold riding home after nights that once I had finished sliding and got onto the drive, I couldn't get the key out of the barrell. It wouldn't even turn. I had to leave it running until the kettle had boiled! All ok now though.

Today I
Got my worb5 head from scooter centre in the post and jet set for my 80's px which pretty much cinch's the deal.

Got my SIP road pipe, blasted the cheap single pack temp paint off, glass bead blasted the UNDERLYING SURFACE RUST(from a brand new pipe.), strontium chromate primer, koropon high temp jet engine primer and top coat...protect sip exhaust to 1000 degrees celsius!!

nb note the dark manifold joint and exhaust tip on bare metal pic on the right...brand new rust that is

Girlie didnt like the fumes as i was "tempering" the exhaust in the oven so will wait till she's at work tomorrow to crank it to meth lab chemical levels LOL

Now half pissed and am prising the bezel off my speedo cos its cracked, got a free replacement lens, hoping to make it work!

Trumpy, do you work somewhere with that stuff, or is it hardware store available, or special order ? and is it pricey? Jet engine primer?

Sounds like you're pipe'll be bullet proof, as it should. Lame about the rust on new pipe though... I hate that kind of shit.

Cheers
