Today I got my seat from SCK... It's sharp... The craftsmanship shows... it makes my corsa small frame seat look like a rube.
Laid it on two bikes and the fit is killer. Can't decide which bike to put it on... looks killer on boht. Want another one already. I'll shoot a couple pics on bikes tomorrow.

Ended up on the Super may very well get another for vnb. I'm digging it so far.

Almost today.
In the last week I.....

Repainted my 3/4 helmet to make it more visible.
(1960s ford gt40 colours, teal and orange.)

Started to build a seat for my smallframe.
(right now it has a saddle seat and square passenger seat)

Acquired a 1968 Buco windshield that I will adapt to fit my bike.
(for long distance rides, and maybe more fuel economy)

All the best,
Sir Paul.

+1 and now I want to see your VNB! Oh yeah, like the seat too - nice and looong....

I've been making some progress on my VNB, but hit a small problem today with the front axle. I wonder if it was ever greased or if PO thought that little nipple was just a decoration. Front shock froze up tite as well and my shopping list just keeps growing .

Needle bearings rusted in solid, until I scraped a bit off I thought maybe it was half of a sleeve bearing bodge .

Today I....

Pulled the flyewheel's off both my p200's and will send them off for remag
.
Installed a replacement dongle for the CHT on my SIP Speedo - this time on a cylinder head bolt, instead of under the spark plug, since they're so flimsy.

Pulled my Vortex carburetor and airbox and templated the dremel work I need to do to open up the airflow on the airbox.

Cannonball preps continue....

A few more.
Still need to powder a handful of bits, get a rally speedo cable (to fit SIP speedo and PK fork) And I'm gonna lose the "semi" part of hydraulic and put the master on the headset... need to find someone to chop and weld the bracket though.

Yep, it is a 226. The exhausts of the Vespa Gods.

But back to the subject:

Put decals on bike. Installed rear tail light. Installed new BGM rear shock. Ran Clutch and Gear Cables.

Today I...
...came over to the not-so-modern side to have a casual look around. What a fantastic Super, Vader!

Makes me want to buy a shiftie but after 30 years of tracking oil and grease all over the house I've been banned from old Vespas which have a history of arriving in an unworkable state and staying that way. However, I might be allowed to buy a nicely restored scooter...mmm..might have to start saving my pennies.

Where have you been hiding that? You only ride the the one that looks like a bodge. I kid. I want to take a spin on that and I'll let ya beat up the Rally. The seat looks awesome BTW. Love the sides. Reminds me of a Mercedes seat.

Stripped out my mix screw thread on a space carb. What a difference between the quality of a delo. and a Spaco carb. So what do I do now? I guess it just has to screw in all the way and out.
