See those two clip thingys. Use needle nose or pliers or Vice grips and pull them off the center rod. Then wiggle/fidget to one side and she comes apart.
Now put all back together with springs flipped/reversed. Sliding center rod side to side completing the reassembly. Put the little metal c-clips back and tag-dah held down by spring tension.
I use one of those Velcro cable wraps to hold it up when needed.
