Yea the Bastards are leaving for Napa soon.
We have some crazy guy that's never rode a Vespa so stay away from the Bastard riding in the back of the pack. You really don't want to meet him by accident. He will have the Scooter with the Big get out of my way STAR on the side..... |

I just got back from riding with Ruben down through Vallejo to highway 80. What a fun day. Can't wait for Rides of March next weekend. Thanks for everyone's help today. And for everyone that travelled from out of town to ride with us. |

Bastard Down~
Bastard Down! Bastard Down....
Hey thanks Jim, Kirsten, Curt, Tom, for coming to the aid of the fallen Bastard. He is a little sore but happy that he was only on a Baron Scooter. His first ride and first ditch. I am sure his wife the CHP officer will be happy to hear that her husband has a scooter repair bill. We estimate the dammage to be around $200.00 yea it's a total.. His new nick name is Mud Surfer... That was one long painfull slide. The clean up riders from Napa "Jed & Matt" you guys did a great job. Thanks~ |

Damn, sorry I missed it guys, my son got pinkeye this weekend so there was no way I could make it. Plus I would have been on the Triumph, and it looked like all scooters... I wouldn't want to get beat up.

Another thanks to NVSC.
Spalding Grey used to describe Perfect Moments in his monologues. There were a bunch on that Sunday ride! (Well, excepting the poor Bastard's less-than-perfect mud surfing moment) /scott |

What everyone else said. It was great meeting so many new people, especially the folks from Sacto. This ride definitely challenged my riding skills! More, please!
Total mileage for me that day was 180. My enormous thighs are still sore from grabbing the seat while on the 101. That one longish hill climb after lunch has convinced me that I need some performance upgrades. At one point I was huffing and puffing, doing 30 at full throttle, and I half expected Lance Armstrong to pass me. --cindy (the only Daring Plum) |

My old Vino 125 would slow down to about 25mph on that grade. I hear the 190 kit is the ticket on the LX. |
