Hi Vespa fans,
Could you please tell me how I can get more speed/acceleration for this model in Australia. I currently use 98 RON fuel.
Thank you
Eric

If you're concerned with more speed than a 125 cc scooter offers you, what in hell ever possessed you to buy about half as much engine as you apparently want or need? Didn't you ride one first?

What kind of question is that to ask someone?
Their first post, you don't even know how they got the scoot.
EricLee might have inherited it or something.

I moved from a 50cc to a 150cc and thought Holy Sh!7 this this is fast and after 1 year riding I thought Holy Sh!7 this thing is slow.

Telling EricLee some other smart ass answer would have been better than insulting the poster.

Knob.

Point me in the direction of an air-cooled small frame 250 that has that Piaggio feel. We buy these because they're simple, fun, cheap and versatile. Then we mod the crap out of them to make them what we want, sometimes spending way more than what we thought we would (sorry honey). If I just wanted more power I would've bought a gts.

Get a Sito plus, variator, maybe jetting done for around $500 (fitted) or add to that a 190cc kit all up for around $1,150 (fitted) and just enjoy it. Don't forget the tyres and handling though.
