Very low fog today, poor visibility. Be careful London riders, I'll upload some pictures of my morning commute later today. Maybe it'll clear by the time yall rise from your sleepy ways. 4am's are a b**ch.

Thanks.

M4 not too bad at the moment. Although everyone insists on putting all of their foglamps on! So dazzling is more of a problem!!

Oh crap that's just soup. My wife and I are spending some time in a location we will be moving to later this year called the Sunshine Coast. Right now it's about 25C and we're about to go for a walk along the beach. Average temp all year round is 26C day, 20C night with NO FOG.

BB7 if you are in the Shire, I must be somewhere near the Prancing Pony at Bree I had forgotten how wet the fog is!! It was yeuch this morning. First my visor misted up inside and out so I flipped it up and dropped down to 15mph then my specs did the same. Specs off and crawled into work not quite blind.

I have just spent the morning freezing inside a 40 ft shipping container checking an import relocation shipment from Melbourne. I knew the sun had started shining when the heat started coming off the container walls.

Lovely day out there now. Looking forward to the ride home

Brings back memories of days when you couildn't see from one side of the road to the other.
We were sent home early from school and were ordered to keep our scarves over our mouths.
Happy Days!

Looks like a perfect place for Jack the Ripper!

I'd trade our weather for yours today, though. Lexington, Kentucky has a "high threat of tornadoes" today, according the the Weather Channel. Kentucky had 11 tornadoes touch down earlier this week (none in Lexington, though).

I'd much prefer fog to deadly windstorms, but be careful no matter what the weather's like today!

Be careful out there everyone. We don't have fog here and i really don't miss it. Sometimes we get VOG from the Volcano over on the Big Island if the winds are right but it doesn't hang like fog. Makes breathing interesting tho if you have allergies or asthma. ANDY be careful the news shows some really horrible devastation in your area. Mother nature is pissed this year. I ordered a weather channel radio that has a 90dcb siren that will go off if we have a warning when i'm sleeping. You can configure it to whatever parameters you want. I'm thinking i might need it this year.

Fog is by far the worst thing for me to ride in! I hate it so much and we gets lots of it here during the summer. Riding home at midnight in a fog you can barely see the road in is nerve racking.

Fog is effin' terrifying riding down HWY1 at night from Leggett to Fort Bragg. A brilliant riding road in daylight or clear darkness.

Nightmare in fog at night.

Survived it though!

Fog
I live 20 miles East of San Diego, Ca. A week ago, at 8am, the fog was much worse than the Flicker photo. I could not see ahead and returning home was useless. I plodded on. To reach my destination, I had to go on the freeway from one exit to another. Luckily traffic was sparse and moving slowly. When I finally arrived, I was drenched. It was a short trip, but a bit on the harrowing side. Cold, wet pavement, watching for cars ,and zero visibility was not fun. An hour later when I started my return trip, the fog had let up. But, I still had to watch for all the wet spots. Of course, the cars were in full force and in a hurry.

Another morning of low fog over London, almost clipped a curb taking a bend on the way in! Found it worse than the previous.

Be Careful folks
