In your first picture, like your coned obstacle course for practicing maneuvering while transitioning from different off road surfaces.

I'll play

No pics of scoot whilst camping, but here's a few. Our old folding camper in North Yorkshire, then when we took up tent camping again. The site is in Wales, the bay is where Moby Dick was filmed (all dick jokes welcome).

Last one is not actually a site - it's our new tent in a display. We're off to France in it in June. Happy days.

OOh, I can have some fun with this one! Quite a few here, but I am only showing the good ones, not the rubbish two man tent stuff (which is mostly what I use).

Tipi In Cornwall - infested with slugs during one of the wettest summers ever.

Hey Matthew - I have a Ford Ranger truck and we were thinking of getting a 'smallish' popup camper shell like what you have - how do you like it?

It's great. I looked for over a year and drove 800 miles to get the one that I wanted. What length bed do you have? Six footers are easier to find but long bed seven footers allow an adult to sleep in the lower bunk.

I don't know if it counts as camping if your truck and caravan combined are bigger than my flat.

In New York, we are not allowed to tow two trailers behind. You're lucky you can do that!

Thanks for the feedback - I have a 6 foot bed but certainly don't mind getting a camper that extends beyond that a bit.

Primordialdancer, I tried putting my camper designed for a seven foot bed into my dads six foot bed Ranger and it made the front very light and was a little uncomfortable to drive. I wouldn't recommend it. I also have air booster springs in the rear to level it. They can be deflated when the truck is empty.

Cool - thanks for letting me know - I'll keep it in mind if/when I get something!
