My CBT was postponed from Saturday 10th March to Sunday 11th March.

Apparantley the "guy who does them" is "off sick"

How they know he'll still be sick on Saturday is beyond me, it's not as if he has a terminal illness either considering he's returning a day later.

Fair enough, it's only 24 hours, but it means I get no real weekend riding, and it's just the concept of the situation.

Calling around more CBT providers now...

No luck, all offer next week/sunday.

This is truly annoying, I can just see myself pulling up there on Sunday and being told he's still "sick".

I hope it works out for you. I really enjoyed my CBT, the day was a blast!

There's a list of providers in the UK by region here if you need schools.

Good luck with the CBT, read the Highway Code before you go if you've never been on the road before.

Thanks Wonder Machine.

Seems fairly similar to what I've been using:

Good to know the CBT is enjoyable. Is it one-to-one, out of interest?

No, I had a class with three others. Was fine though. Me, one girl who wanted to impress her Ducati riding boyfriend, and two pizza delivery guys.

You go for two ride outs in the afternoon of the day, and that was two of us with the instructor. So you won't be racing around the streets in a brat pack.

The guys who do the CBT normally have lots of practical "real world" tips for after you've got the entitlement, so ask them at the end of the day.

Enjoy!

dumb question here -- is the CBT the UK equivalent of the MSF course in the US (a class you can take to get your motorcycle license)?
