Hi guys,
I'm planning on doing a lil project and I'm looking for a 250 engine,
I understand that I can also use the MP3 250 as they're all interchangeable.
Also, I'll be looking to swap the engine on my GTS125. Is it a simple plug and play type swap, or are there anything else that needs doing?

Anyone know of one or any suggestions to a breakers?

I've scoured through eBay, lots of breakers websites(to no avail), I also saw one on Gumtree which said it was a GTS250 engine, then I notice the ad detail mentioned it was from an 04' plate which means it must have been a 200.

any leads..?

thanks guys!

gts 250 won't go into a GT125. well, it could, but you would practically have to strip the bike to the frame and rebuild it.

you need to swap the whole wiring loom, fuel tank, dash, engine and cooling system. not a straight engine swap at all. could drop a GT200 engine into it with no drama if you want.

I understand fitting it in the GT will be different, but will it still be the same for a GTS125?

Yes, the GTS125 is a GT in all but name. If you want to see what is involved, TheO.Z. fitted a GTS engine to his GT200. Same thing required for you. New loom, tank, fuel pump, dash and all the other bits and bobs.
