Modern Vespa

I just heard from my dealer that my scooter maybe ready for pick up as early as tomorrow afternoon. Some of you may recall the accident my scooter had when some bozo hit my scooter while it was innocently parked in my parking space at work. This initially was assessed by me to be just a damaged front fender. Once the scooter was in the shop I found out that the front fork had also been bent. Well now 6 wks later the front fork is done as is the front fender. I had planned some mods for the scooter prior to the accident as well. All of the mods are done I believe except perhaps for the LED kit and brake light modulator because the LED kit from GIVI is back ordered. If the weather is good tomorrow the shop will test ride my poor scooter to ensure that the front fork has been done to spec. The weather here is supposed to be a high of 1*C but we have had much snow and ice here so hopefully they will have sufficient clear streets near them to do a test ride. If they are able to do that then they will deliver my long lost missed GTS to their shop and install my modded seat. I may actually be able to ride it home tomorrow and have the LED kit and brake light modulator done when the kit arrives!

Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me. I have really missed my GTS for the past month and a half. You guys have helped me survive this period by reading your posts and seeing your photos of your scooters. I will certainly be posting photos if and when I get Benito back!

That's fantastic! Watch out for darkly lit parking garages where dishonest losers bump your scooter and leave incorrect contact numbers. I understand these can be a rotten place to park!
