Hey there!

I'm getting in a few days my first & new (2011) 125 PX

I have 2 BIG doubts regarding the PX accesories:

1) Can I have a Front Individual + Back individual seat mounted on a PX 2011?

If yes, I guess I will need locks for gas/oil - can you also get them?

2) Is there any Back rear + 2nd spare wheel space + back rest for the Vespa PX 2011? Just like the one in the video.

I found this:

Cuppini 3 in 1 Rear Rack

Scooter Fit
Vespa PX150-Stella 2T (Disc 1999-Current)

It says it will fit a PX150 1999-Current (2011?) but a 125 PX? Or the frame size does not change at all?

I know they might be stupid questions but... I must admit I'm to dumb regarding "mechanics" and "fittings"

Big thanks for any help

Welcome to Modern Vespa from the Aegean!

The Cuppini rear rack will fit a PX 125. PX 150 and PX 125 have identical body fitments.

For answers about the seats, this thread has been moved to the Not So Modern Forum. That's where the folks who are shifty Vespa enthusiasts tend to hang out, giving you a better shot at a quick answer. NSM is home to all shifty Vespas, regardless of year and model.

yes you can put saddles on a P series.

and you can buy a locking gas cap, but I don't know about oil caps. I've never had an oil tank before, I don't know if it would conflict with the front saddle.

but there's a guy here in town with saddles on his P200

I've got an old '58 Allstate with saddle seats. I find it to be a pain filling gas. The filler is almost underneath the seat. It does look cool but just keep that part in mind. The oil filler might present more of a problem depending on its location. I've never had a scoot with an oil tank, so I'm not sure of the placement. Either way, good luck and welcome to MV.

Saddle seats might be your style choice, but it's not as comfortable to ride. You're stuck in one seating position. You're also sitting up higher, and on a PX, that's already happening because it sits higher anyways.

Thanks for all the responses!

I thought about a higher seat because I'm 1,88cm (6.3ft) and the first time I sat on a PX I felt a bit weird. Like if I was "too big for it".

Also because since I will have my girl riding with me, I thought by having 2 individual seats we would gain "more space" (Im a big fella Laughing emoticon)

Maybe it has everything to be with getting used to te Vespa! I was just on top of it for first time in the store, and I need to wait 3 weeks for it to come!

Personally I don't think you'll like single seats... especially with your size... you'll end up sitting on the passanger handle, or just plain off the back of the single seat.

X2 about your size and seats. Also, if you have big feet, you and your pillion rider will have a hard time sharing floorboard space. I found that getting cowl bar/guards helped on my P series helped my wife rest her feet.

I do have a 14 foot size

May you please show me a photo of your bike so I can understand what do you mean with "cowl bar"? Or the model of the accesory?

I'm sorry but english isn't my first language... I guess you mean some kind of "chrome" covering the back side of the Vespa...?

Any model or example?

Thank you!

EDIT: Are you talking about this?

I guess the foot-rest would be for the rider not the passenger, it doesn't look very effective for someone size 14 Nerd emoticon
