I couldn't find my old one when I put the giraffe up a few months ago, so I put up the pic of me riding the scooter the day I got back from a six week post retirement 'round the world jaunt.

Ok... I gotta change my avatar back to my original one. I figure avatars are like hats... Never wear a hat that has more personality than you do. My new avatar had too much personality. LOL

Avatar remember? It has to be hard to stay that way. Origami has to be crisp.

That word 'retired' just doesn't seem applicable with a lot of folk nowadays, especially some of the 'retirees' on MV (Jimc, Turkman etc etc etc) who appear to do more 'living it up' in thier 60's 70's and 80's than i did when i was 16

I changed mine after seven years to one with me at the Beartooth Pass in Wyoming, taken by my friend Drew on our big ride from Denver to Glacier NP and back in July. It was among the best weeks of my life so I put it on here.

Chose mine because I am the oldest guy in my group of work friends (still only 37) though they use every opportunity to call me 50! So why not live it up as the old guy on the scooter!

PS I cry a lot! Crying or Very sad emoticon

Move your age to four years of age. One of my clients explained it to me:

You are free until you are four years of age, when you go into school. After then you have to go somewhere until you are retired, generally late 60's to into your 70's.

When you were 16, your time was not totally free. You were required to go places.

When you retire, your time is all yours.

I change mine when I have a whim. <<< this one is a Flyerized Minion (Despicable Me, I just love those movies). A T-Shirt company that advertises in Facebook has shirts with Philadelphia Eagles Football, Philadelphia Phillies Baseball and mine Philadelphia Flyers Ice Hockey.

I may change it to the Phillies in the Spring and then the Eagles in the fall and back to the Flyers...or I might find another that I like better.
