Hello,

I´m triyng to make my vespa look like the older ones, and after seeing some like the vespa sprint 125, I want to take out the hand-bar for the passenger

I just wanted to know how it´s done, and if you can , please post pictures.

Open seat
Remove pet carrier

Remove battery cover and fuel lid

Slide fuse box from side of cover

Remove phillps screws holding down black cover

Remove two bolts holding hand rail

Remove plastic cover where rail mounts above tail light
Remove bolt holding rail
Remove rail

Reinstall covers

I don't think you can reattach the cover over the tail light, but it has been a whil since I had it off. You might need to use some fillers.

Now I just need to find something to put on the bolt holes above the tail light, since I don´t know if I wan´t to do this definetley


By the way, there should be a "How to" tab, were we could put this kind of stuff, instead of project reports

Yes, the rack that is specific for the LX top cases (and supplied with the case) is painted the same color as the case.

Help yourself to any photo at the Morris Garage and then wander your way through the LX150 galleries. There's one for the top case that shows more photos.

Try the Technical Library, there is a lot of How To and other stuff in there.

If you mean by scooter shops, the piaggio stores, then I´ll try to go there , as for other scooter shops here, I don´t know of any
