I've seen on the forum that some like to use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on their scoots. I've used it to remove shoe scuff marks etc. and did not notice any problems. My wife (Who Knows A Whole Lot) thinks it will ruin the paint.

So do I or don't I?

I checked the Mr Clean Magic Eraser web site and it lists a zillion uses but NONE for automotive finishes. I think wifey is correct.

NO! Do not use this on your painted finish. The Mr Clean Magic Eraser is an abrasive, it will scratch your clear coat. Probably make it look cloudy.

magic eraser
We bought it to take pencil and ink marks off of the enameled doors. The magic eraser took off all of the marks. It also took off all of the shine of the enamel.

Do not disagree with " The one who must be obeyed."
That should be all the Magic you need.

OK I hope you get to a full bubble. I went out tonight with a young chick half my age. So there! Alas they don't seem to be attracted to older married guys that smoke and drink too much. What's wrong with the world!!!!
