How long can you stock a belt before using it ?

I want to order 2 from PSN Tuning to save on the shipping cost but not sure if it is ok to keep it 2 or 3 years before using it

Thanks

i can't offer scientific fact, but it seems storing something for so long wouldn't necessarily have a cost benefit...but then, considering the material, why wouldn't it last? i have the one i pulled, last year from my first belt change, the one in it now, plus one new spare...oil filters might be more necessary to buy in bulk, plus one or 2 extra air filters...one in, one out, cleaned/oiled and ready to put in, next oil change.
i'll defer to the man~made~materials~experts, fer sher...

Jack, you should ride more. Then the extra belt wouldn't sit too long. I just ordered two from AF1 and don't think it will take too long to go through both of them. By the way, they were $60.00 each.

Thanks I have just ordered 2 belts from AF1 racing. With the exchange rate of the USD to the yen they come cheaper including shipping than from PSN although the PSN shipping is much cheaper
Will keep them away from sunlight
They are hard to get and very expensive in Japan although it seems this is where they are made for Piaggio.....
