I finally found a spare tire rack for inside my legshield. Not a bad price, i think.
Now I'll be able to carry my spare:

If any could help; what size bolts do I need to get to attach to the taps on the center channel?

Yeah, but it says wheel bolts. Looking at the picture it shows the bolts that hold the wheel onto the rack.
I think I'm right?

I'm pretty sure they are M8's. I think the length is 20mm long

David, I don't know how you feel about rear holders, but SWest has a Vintage rear holder for a 59-64 Allstate

I'll either modify the carrier or do something tricky with the wheel.

Got it! Love it!
I rx'd my rack yesterday and installed it like a breeze.
Killo, you're right about the style, but it had a center hole where I passed a bolt through to the bracket you see in the pics. Then I used it to hold the spare. I know it's not spec, but it works and looks great!

Took Abby for a long ride yesterday, too.
I was surprised the different handling with a passenger, even a feather like her.
It's a bit of a learning curve.
She seemed to enjoy it.

You had to call me out, huh?

...yes, yes it is skateboard grip tape.

I wasn't able to get the right stuff.

No offense intended. I do things like this all the time (improvise). Sometimes you have to do with whatever works.
