Modern Vespa

I have noticed lately that the GTS has seemed a little......squirrely i guess.

I was checking the tire pressure since I haven't done so since we have been up into the 80's and 90's during the day and I noticed that when I had the tire replaced (thanks Vespa Roadhazard) that I have a Michelin Pilot City on the rear now and the stock Sava on the front.

Could this be the cause of my high speed unpleasantness???

What was the tire pressure?

I have been running the same tire combination on my LX with no ill-effects that I've noticed.

I have the same configuration on my GTS and although I can tell a little difference like you are saying (squirlyness) with the handling, I think it is solely due to the new Pilot as opposed to the Sava up front affecting it.

It may be because I was used to how the Sava handled.

I'm running the stock Pirelli on my front and skippy continental on the back of my GT. As soon as I changed the back, I immediately noticed a little bit of a difference...not squirrelly, per se, just as slight change in handling, but not enough to be really bothersome.

yeah...I dropped both tiresby 3 psi at it improved, they were a little high.

I have the 'city pilot' on front and a stock Sava on the rear.

The bike seems to handle fine.

The Sava's do everything well but grooved hiway.
