I'm just glad to see a modern added to the contents. I'll try to pick it up this week, as I think my subscription won't kick in until next month.

FYI US Subscription $63 ($60 sub + $3 transactions fee), US newstand $115.20 ($9.60/issue @ McSweeneys Santa Rosa & SF Moto). Try www.motorsportpublications.com they also had Scooterist Scene and a lot of Classic bike type of zines.

I'm enjoying reading the 160 page FREE Lambretta brochure given by the Scooter Center from Germany. In particular, the 20 pages of the history of Lambrettas from their initial start in October 1947 with the Model m (A).
I'm NOT a one marque/badge disciple, and the information about the development of the Lambrettas is enlightening. The rest of the pages are taken up with sales items. Carbs, etc.
This free brochure is taking pride of place at the moment, in the small room, where I can read it in peace and quiet.

Bye the way, has anyone come across reviews on the GTS 125 yet? I may have missed them, or perhaps they haven't been tested by the UK journalists/reviewers.

nein, auf englisch und gratis But I doubt that it would be included in the USA package with the Scootering Magazine. It would cost a lot in postage. In fact on the glossy front cover it says, Nominal Charge 7.5 Euros, £5 GBP and US$10.00

Blimey does that mean that we're paying $6 per gallon for 'gas' over here?!!!!

Not $6 just yet, this morning it was $3.23 for regular unleaded (87 octane) not the supreme stuff (91) the GT uses.

'Over here' is UK. So in fact the $3.23 is probably doubled to near $6.

I've gone to the Conversion Tables and price per litre 'over here' and the cost of a gallon of 'gas' in the UK is close to US $6.66 Crying or Very sad emoticon

True, but hopefully the positive spin-off will be a reduction in Porsche Cayennes and Range Rover Sports on the streets of London. In St John's Wood where I work they are a positive menace to anyone smaller than them- ie everyone.

I've just heard MPVs being given a new Title....HPV = High Pollution Vehicle. It must be terrible riding in London with those huge vehicles taking up most of the narrow roads.

Tell me Scoots (people)
I ride the PX etc etc, but I'm getting very ho-hum about Scootering because there is not nearly enough GTS content and all I see are OLD bikes. Same old, same old..
I want to know if the sister ship Twist and Go has a lot of GTS content or is it all "plastic fantastic"???
We dont get that here so I want your input . Ta

I share your sentiments about Scootering, Old Mod. I have been subscribing for about 7 years, but find less and less of interest in it.

The newsagents in Sydney do not stock TAG, except for an occasional, "test the water" issue. But I find it full of 50cc autos and semi-nude females. Must be aimed at the teenager market! I am sure there are interesting articles involving GT200 and GTS250 scooters every now and then, and wish their web site would like the articles in each issue so that I could order particular ones.

Glad its not just me being a grump, Mike.
I rather figured T and G would be a bit teeny bopper.
I am going to make a post re custom paint jobs on this site.
