Today I was supposed to go out practice in wakeboarding but soo windy so I skipped that.. decided to do project on my fly 150 while chill at home..
Drilled three holes on each side where I want to put LED lights in...

put the undercover back on scooter, I have about 2 ft long wires red and black (ground) connect to the wires that go for front running light, then put connectors on end to make wires connect and disconnect if need to get the undercover off next time for some reason?

That's pretty cool! I am planning something similar but on different parts of the scooter.

Where did you find the LEDs? Do they glow amber, like they appear in the picture? Were they already individually wired like that with a red and black wire each? You simply had to connect them to the respective red/black wires on the running lights? No need for extra parts in between?

It'll be easy to spot you at night if I ever see you on the road!

I've also been thinking of doing some extra LED lighting to my Fly, not that location exactly. It looks nice though, well done.

texio, you can find almost any LED (or LED product) you would ever want at SuperBrightLEDs.com.

led
that led lights i bought that at PEP BOYS, only $6.99.. I got two packs so like $14.

It's so quick to take all the body off, seat, panels, front cowl, floor, I did like 3 times already so I know how to get them back together good. That will take me like 20 mins to get them off and on. Not hard Laughing emoticon

The lights glow really good at the night, not that bright in sunny day.. one piece of LED light have black and red wires so 6 LEDs with 6 black and 6 red. Not much tools or parts to use for this project, very simple.

Anybody know what LED you need to replace the taillight? I couldn't find a product number on mine to try and swap it out. Its not a normal 1157 it has one of the pegs off-center

Ill pull it out after I get home from work, it looks like an 1157 except that the two pegs sticking out to hold it in place aren't directly across from one another. One is at the 12 o'clock position and the other is at 7 o'clock

The tail/brake light bulb for the Fly 150 is a BAW15d 1157 socket, same as the BAZ15d - http://scootercommunity.com.au/forums/p/15852/116675.aspx#116675
