Modern Vespa

Faith and Begorrah, but the scooters certainly made a good showing at this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Denver. Sqream and Scarab were in attendance and displayed both their sense of resolve (the wait to actually parade was a bit lengthy) and their sense of party (not hard considering the thousands of happy folks lining the streets). Setting new records for the "slowest scooter ride of any distance this year," the parade route wound through lower downtown Denver past scores of happy St. Patrick's Day celebrants who greeting the scooters with peals of "Slainte!"

i went to the parde, but must have left before you went by. it was horribly long. seems to moove much quicker the years it snows.

Tis true indeed! I had no idea that the parade was this large, and getting such a large beastie to move quickly...not gonna happen. It was fun, though and we met quite a few folks while waiting our turn. We'll look for ya next year! Meanwhile, I'll get post a link when I get the full photo set up.
