Modern Vespa

We're still on for this wednesday. See you all over at the Falconer around 7:00pm. We leave at a more realistic 8:00pm for a ride around the mean streets of Rivercide. We had 8 scoots last time, including a lone Phonies sighting. We still end off at Back to the Grind on the corner of University and Orange for all you coffee drinkers.

Brian and I will be there too. I'm working on our friend from Pomona to come out to our place and ride out Riverside with Brian.

My LX caught a flat this weekend so we'll be picking her up at Dave's right before the ride. We wouldn't miss it

What's with you guys and flat tires?

When do you work, Hulking War Machine? I frequent the Falconer on tuesdays for darts.

I was up at Vespa Riverside last week picking up some tires, and on the way back home there was an accident, and at least 10 cars pulled over with flat tires, all in the same spot (on the 91 fwy just before the 15.)

Looked like someone had dropped some nails or screws in the road. Nasty stuff.

Beats the heck out of me!! At least I discovered the problem while it was parked in the garage and not out on the road somewhere.

Don't forget to remind Dave to come along this time. I still don't know the details of his accident. I think he should ride a buddy.

Right now I'm working from Sunday night thru friday morning my shift is 10pm-6am
And if the Falconer is a bar I try to stay clear of bars "I'm a recovering "well ya know!"

Oh, recovering types. Did I mention Back to the Grind holds AA meetings? I guess you'll just have to wait until we start doing weekend rides.
