Modern Vespa

Has anyone seen a way to carry a medium size (45lbs.) dog on a Vespa?

Both of them need better helmets.

Coolest dog in the world. The dog needs no bone to entice her onto the floorboard. She jumps right on and loves the ride. I wish I could say the same about my wife.

My little 9.8lb Bichon rides in a modified doggy harness.

Yeah but if you can't get FF helmet under there, there's no way your gettign a 45 lb dog in there! Maybe that's what the sticker means... No LARGE pets!

My silky terrier and cocker spaniel already asked me to go riding on "Lani Girl".
I'm buying a harness, because I know they'd rather sit and face the wind, than straddle the floorboard.

i think that's the same dog at saw at chattanooga last year? that dog was awesome, i got a video of him just as he got off the bike at the rally site. i can't believe he rode that 30 mile twisty ride.

here's how i carry my pookie.

I think a German Shepherd takes human sized goggles.. My dad got doggles for his Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He zips him into the front of his riding jacket with his head poking out. Would work with a big dog, though. I would think the best way would be on the floorboards, but you have to have a pretty well trained dog..

Long leash.
Shout, "Come 'on boy!"

Alex was the one who painted my wheels, he's a great guy. Mintaka is really friendly and super trained.

No dog but my wrabbit yimkin loved to ride the floorboards on my Helix. 8) These old threads make me sad because some cool people aren't on here anymore. Totally missed the Hawaii person and wonder where i was in the world both years.

Many years ago a friend modified a backpack into a dog harness and had his Golden Retriever ride "pillion" on an old BMW. Police tried to give him a ticket but could not as the dog was "on a leash"

There's a couple of elderly gents in my local twon who transport their dogs on two wheels. One is on a bicycle and the other a moped. In each case the dogs sit happily in milk crates 8)

Definitely looks like a flat to me too.
