Good News Everyone!

Scraps is at it again!

He's gotten all soft in the head and decided that it's been too long that there are several scooter clubs in Cleveland. He thought,that they should all meet, ride together, and dance the night away.

Sound crazy?

Well, it did to him, but that ain't gonna stop him. As we speak, he's got his army of disciples getting all the necessary arrangements together to make his dream of Cleveland scootering come true. The details will follow, but, in the meantime, tell everyone you know that they are going to have the time of their lives riding, meeting, and drinking with every other Cleveland scooter owner.

This is about unifying ALL of Cleveland's scooterists and sharing what we have in Cleveland with the rest of the midwest region.

So, think about it. Talk about it. And plan to come out to Cleveland soon!


Saturday, April 21st!! 5 o'clock Lounge.

Also, there just happens to be a local film screening later in the night AND a dj is also already scheduled.

This night is going to be a blast. I'm giddy just thinking about it.

If anyone is haunting the other Ohio, MI, PA, etc. scooter forums, can you please repost the gist of this event and goad these people to come out?

A bunch of us are coming in for this. Scraps actually planned it for this weekend because i was going to be there for my sister's wedding shower anyways

anyways, i look forward to it.

I talked with Scraps about this tonight...if any Cleveland Scooterists would like to map a route for Saturday afternoon I'll be happy to print out map sheets, contact lists etc.

We'll be running the shop usual Saturday hours for anyone needing any supplies etc. If someone puts a ride together we can even supply a chase truck etc.

Don't know if there will be a patch yet...we thought about just making it a Generic patch and leaving a nice blank area where we can put the roman numeral I and then just add to it as needed...I can see this becoming a regular occurence.

I'd be happy if it went yearly, PARTICULARLY early in the season where there are very few midwest rallies besides Cincy which then leaves a large gap until June when there's another midwest rally ( band camp ).

The region could use that hole plugged.

Saturday Night - 8pm Hoist steins with Cleveland's scooterists.

I'd love to make it but I'm "stuck" working down here in Naples, FL for a couple more weeks. Hope to meet the gang when I return to Erie, PA for the summer and fall.

Nice gathering at the Beer Engine Fri night. I've never seen so many excellent beers and the food was awesome. The best part (aside from seeing so many scooterists) was taking Rover Zatek's crazy-kitted PK 50 around the neighborhood. Great Fun!

Also, great ride on Saturday. We met at Pride of Cleveland Scooters (POC) on Cleveland's near West side (Ohio City area). Scraps then led us past Jacobs field out Eastward to Shaker Lakes and the charm of Little Italy. After a snack in Little Italy most then headed for Lakrfront State Park and a cruise throught the mansions of Bratenahl. Others headed for Big Fun (awesome retro toy store) and Record Revolution in Covenrty. A worthwhile afternoon to say the least.
