I have owned scooters for over 50 years.

Batteries weren't a big deal back then (50's, 60's 70's and 80's) since a kick starter (that worked) was the main way to start a scooter. Maybe the only way except for push starting. Some early scoots didn't even have a battery.

Now with automatic scoots you have to have a charged battery or a good kick starter that works.

Today, we have a real need for a good scooter battery!

Historically, there never was a good scoot battery and now that scoots depend on them for starting I expect the battery manufactures will have to step up to the plate and make a good one. But... it won't be cheap!!!
