Modern Vespa

I have a friend who is thinking of taking his rear rack off. Im telling him to just undo the bolts and he is ok. He is afraid there are nuts under the back end he wont be able to get to if he wants to put it back on. Am I right?? Just undo the bolts?? I think the nuts are the kind welded in.
I told him he is thinking way too much on this
I have the lx 150 and have taken everything I can off just to play with it LOL He is a bit more conservative and not online.

The removal is easy enough. You need to take off the plastic on the center of the rack and you also have to remove the plastic around the gas cap. This was the last thing I did to my ET4 so it would fit in the back of a PT Cruiser. I think you'll see as you are taking it off if it will be a problem putting it back on.
