Modern Vespa

I went with the Vintage red which I will be picking up in a week or so and I ordered the leather seat and the top case with the leather backrest to match the seat. Hopefully the seat topcase and backrest don't take to long to come in but I loved how that leather seat looks with vintage red.

Congrat's on choosing the slower colour, You'll be happier going slower anyways.

Awesome! You're lucky to be getting one as they are becoming scarcer. Prepare to wait on the top case. My dealer tells me they may get a different color and paint it if necessary. I'm hoping it's in by May/June.

Man, I just love that colour. Especially with that nice medium brown/tan leather seat on there. Looks way sharp. Great choice.

i went that route to have something a little more out-of-the-ordinary. i guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....

the top box- does it have the same "vera pelle" (real leather) as the seat and i assume it's vintage red??? how long is the wait on that? i heard those are very hard to come by....

Haven't gottin a date for those to come in but I had to pay 300 for the leather to match the seat on the topbox. When you say I almost have an identical set-up what do you mean?? Won't we have the same bike??

I never get tired of looking at that color. Hands down, the best.

i was joking around because you used a picture of my vespa to start the thread. it'll be the same and you'll be really happy with this combination. i can't wait to see pictures of yours with the top box.

fyi- i saw a pair of brown leather vespa handgrips at my local dealer today, and they match the seat really well. they want $79 for the pair. after my flyscreen/windscreen, that'll be my next purchase

Aren't those handles similar to the ones on the gtv... I heard the handles on the gtv can rattle because there not tight like the rubber ones.
