Overview
Modern Vespa is an all-volunteer website, and there are far more posts than our moderators can read. As such, we rely to a large degree on our users to report posts that they feel violate the posting guidelines.
There's even a system for reporting posts. In fact, we'd prefer that you use the post reporting system, rather than sending a PM to a specific moderator. Reporting a post puts it into a queue where any moderator on duty can respond as necessary.
We do promise to look at every report, even if we don't always agree that action needs to be taken.

What kinds of posts
In addition to reporting posts that violate the posting guidelines, you can also report double posts, threads started in the wrong forum area, and spam.
How to do it
In the upper right corner of every post is a button with an exclamation mark in it (see figure 1). Click the button, and you'll be taken to a screen where you can select what category of report (personal attack, politics, spam, etc) and a brief description of why you think the post merits a report. Hit the submit button, and you're done. A moderator will take a look at it as soon as they are able.
